Jessica Hood
Playwright/Producer
Jessica holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from Simon Fraser University. Her artistic practice is focused on performance, playwriting, and producing. Selected performance credits include Her/Them (Pedro Chamale, Pull Fest VII); Acceleration (Ulla Laidlaw); The Girl Who Was Raised by Wolverine, (Deneh’Cho Thompson); Voices from Chernobyl (Aliya Griffin, The Troika Collective); and the title role in Olya the Child (Aliya Griffin, The Troika Collective). Her play Oh, Romeo/ No, Romeo was selected for the NewMarket National Ten-Minute Play Festival. Her first full-length play bad eggs, was presented in a staged reading at rEvolver Festival in May 2019. She was the Artistic Associate at Rumble Theatre for their 2017/18 season. She was named the Artist in Residence at Ruby Slippers Theatre for their 2019/20 season. Rachelle Miguel

Rachelle is an emerging theatre artist who is a Vancouver-based performer, playwright and producer. She is a graduate of SFU with a BFA in Theatre Performance where she learned not only the skills of performance but also the importance of collaboration, patience, determination and creativity. Rachelle is the co-founder of unladylike co., a small theatre collective founded in the spring of 2018. She wrote and co-produced The [Organization] a site-specific play about office culture which premiered at Urban Ink Productions’ office in November 2018. In 2019 she aided in devising those whom fortune favours for HIVE and a haunting mini-performance at Presentation Haunted House.
Pedro Chamale
Director
Pedro is a Latinx-Canadian theatre artist born and raised in Chetwynd, British Columbia. He received his BFA in Theatre Performance from SFU. He then went on to form rice & beans theatre with Derek Chan. Pedro was the Artistic Resident at Neworld Theatre in 2014, the guest curator of the 2018 rEvolver Festival and was one of the playwrights in the 2019 Banff’s Playwrights Lab currently he is writing Peace Country, a look at cultural intersections and environmentalism in BC small towns. Pedro is a director, playwright, performer and theatre jack-of-all-trades. Sarah Roa

Sarah is a Filipina Canadian Actor; grateful to be living and working on the Unceded Territories of the Tsleil-Waututh, Squamish and Musqueam Nations. She holds an acting diploma from Douglas College and a BFA in Acting from UBC. Selected performance credits include: In Wonderland (Alberta Theatre Projects), The Turn of the Screw (Aenigma Theatre), Robinson Crusoe + Friday (Axis Theatre), The Drowning Girls (Theatre North West), and Pride & Prejudice (Arts Club). Upcoming Sarah will be making her debut with Bard on the Beach in A Midsummer Night's Dream in the role of Puck! Raes Calvert
Hades
Hades is a multidisciplinary Métis theatre artist living and working on un-ceded Coast Salish Territories. After graduating from Studio 58, he became Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of Hardline Productions. As a performer he has toured Nationally and International with such companies as Axis Theatre, GreenThumb Theatre, MTYP, Urban Ink and The Presentation House Theatre. He is a five-time Jessie Richardson Theatre Award nominee and two-time recipient. Raes received a REVEAL Indigenous Art Award from the Hnatysyn Foundation in 2017. He also has a BPA degree from Capilano University. Making this film was an amazing experience for Raes. It was the first time after a year working outside of the arts due to the pandemic that he was actually able to do something creative with a great team of talented artists. Lissa Neptuno
Eve
Lissa Neptuno (she/her) is an Asian-Canadian actor-writer-producer who was born in Brunei and raised in Western Canada. She didn’t become a real doctor, but BAD EGGS marks her eighth time playing one. Her favorite credits include Morris in The Nether, Madame Midnight in Reverse, and Mr. Average Joe in Supergirl. She’ll also be kicking ass in Affair of Honor’s The Five Vengeances at the Shadbolt this September. Please come cheer for her and her knees. She is a graduate of Studio 58 and is currently based on the unceded territories of the Qayqayt First Nation. Lissa credits her parents for her lifelong love of acting and is grateful to have their support.

Jessica is a lighting designer, stage manager, theatre technician, and filmmaker based in Coast Salish Territories (commonly known as Vancouver, BC). You can find her touring with and/or designing for dance companies such as Co. Erasga, Out Innerspace Dance Theatre, and Raven Spirit Dance. She also works annually with Vancouver International Dance Festival, Vancouver Folk Music Festival, and Vancouver Queer Film Festival. Jessica is the 2018 recipient of the Larisa Fayad Memorial Award in Lighting Design and Technical Direction.
Teresa Leung

Teresa is a Vancouver based Stage Manager who holds a BFA in Theatre Production and Design from Simon Fraser University. She used to be an amateur dancer and performed for local and international events for many years and this is where her passion in theatre began. She has worked as a stage manager and assistant stage manager since 2009 on plays, dances, musicals and multidisciplinary pieces. Her recent credits include Blast Off! (Gateway Theatre), Fuchsia Future (Elysse Cheadle), Taste of Empire and Chicken Girl (rice & beans theatre). She is very excited and ready to work with all great people in bag eggs.
Kimira is a Set Designer based in BC. She uses virtual reality as a concept tool for set design and creates an immersive VR walk-through of the final product. She is also the Communications Director for Raven Spirit Dance. Originally from South Africa, she holds an MFA in Design from UBC and a Bachelor’s in Performing Arts Technology. Emily is a Costume Designer based in Vancouver and is thrilled to be a part of the bad eggs design team. Recent projects include: Costume Designer for New Canadian Kid (Green Thumb Theatre); Costume Designer for Amélie (West Moon Theatre-Vancouver Fringe Festival); Costume Design for Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (The Snapshots Collective) and Costume Design Apprentice for As You Like It (Bard on the Beach). Emily is a graduate from Studio 58’s Production Program and has recently been nominated for a Jessie Richardson Award for Outstanding Costume Design on Sweeney Todd.
Emily Robertson
Dialogue Editor/Colourist
Emily is a passionate filmmaker, photographer, and storyteller. She was born in Ontario and currently lives as a guest on the unceded, traditional territory of the Cowichan First Nation. Inspired by a love of cinema, Emily studied Film Production at York University in Toronto, specializing in cinematography and editing. Shortly after her move to Vancouver Island, she established Wildflower Productions, a freelance film production company. Using both photography and film, she endeavors to capture moments of beauty and share empowering stories. When not looking through a lens, she is inspired by exploring nature, hiking, painting, baking, and watching documentaries.
Kimia Koochakzadeh-Yazdi
Composer/Sound Designer
Kimia is a California/Vancouver-based composer and performer. She writes for hybrid instrumental/electronic ensembles, creates electroacoustic and audiovisual works, and performs electronic music. Kimia explores the unfamiliar familiar while constantly being driven by the concepts of motion, interaction, and growth in both human life and in the sonic world. Being a cross-disciplinary artist, she has actively collaborated on projects evolving around dance, film, and theatre. Kimia’s work has been showcased by organizations such as Iranian Female Composer Association, Music on Main, Western Front, Vancouver New Music, and Media Arts Committee. She has been featured in The New York Times, Georgia Straight, MusicWorks Magazine, Vancouver Sun, and Sequenza 21. Her work has been performed at festivals around the world including Ars Electronica Festival, Festival Ecos Urbanos, Tehran Contemporary Sounds, AudioVisual Frontiers Virtual Exhibition, The New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival, Yarn/Wire Institute, Ensemble Evolution, New Music on the Point, wasteLAnd Summer Academy, EQ: Evolution of the String Quartet, Modulus Festival, and SALT New Music Festival. She holds a BFA in Music Composition from Simon Fraser University’s Interdisciplinary School for the Contemporary Arts, having studied with Sabrina Schroeder and Mauricio Pauly. Kimia is currently pursuing The Doctor of Musical Arts program in Composition at Stanford University.

Brayden is a Leo Award winning sound designer who lives in the Okanagan Valley. He has worked on numerous film and television projects including “Highway Thru Hell” and “I AM: Martin Luther King jr.” When he’s not stuck behind a computer, he can usually be found taking pictures, playing drums and spending quality time with his young family.

Jamie is a technician, a designer, an artist, a production manager, a writer, a performer, and all the other ways she can find herself deeply involved in the world of theatre. She is thankful to have the opportunity to work on bad eggs. Upcoming shows she is working on are: Migration (Fight with a Stick, March 24-April 2) and Peace Country (rice&beans, April 27-April 30).

Emily Pickering is a Calgary based artist and animator with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The
Alberta University of the Arts. She uses animation as a way to explore esoteric and metaphysical
experiences in connection to everyday life. These themes are also explored in her ongoing arts practices where she incorporates meditation, magic, and narrative to navigate her place within herself, Mokinstis Treaty 7 Land (Calgary, Alberta,), and the larger world around her.
Fletcher Mussett

Fletcher is an independent Sound Mixer and Boom Operator living in Vancouver, BC. A graduate of Capilano University's Bachelor of Motion Picture Arts, he works on various productions across the city. When he's not recording room tone, he's waiting for everyone to be quiet so he can record room tone.

Jo Hirabayashi
Camera Operator
Joseph Kiyoshi Hirabayashi 平林 is a born and raised settler on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. As a 4th generation (Yonsei 四世) Japanese Canadian/American nationality with mix of Quaker German, War bride British and 12th generation Quebecois mixed with Indigenous ancestry, Jo cultivates a diverse artistic practice which includes music performance, composition, production, education and audio engineering as well as videography, video production and editing. Jo has written and released five full length LPs, many Eps and singles through his various projects most notably, jo passed; has composed music for film and dance and has directed, edited and filmed several music videos and one short film. Jo attended Vancouver Community College’s school of music from 2005-2011 and received a Bachelor of Music in Jazz and Contemporary piano with a minor in guitar. During his academic studies, he interned as an audio engineer at Creativ music Studios in North Vancouver where he worked as a private music instructor.
Dan Loan
Camera Operator
While living in a music venue in 2011, Dan began documenting live performance art, and has been working behind the lens ever since. Dan joined the team at KW Studios in 2020 and has been super grateful to be involved in their various projects and the livestream presentations of the Vancouver International Dance Festival. Dan contributed footage and was the sound recordist for the award winning documentary "Hayashi Studio" and recently was part of the documentary film team for CBC's upcoming feature length documentary "Yintah" which will be nationally broadcast later this year.
