unladylike co. is a theatre company formed by Jessica Hood and Rachelle Miguel that operates on the unceded and ancestral lands of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples.

our mission

unladylike co. creates and produces new female-driven plays and performances. At the heart of our work is the woman’s experience, which we share through a feminist, collaborative, and inclusive process. We provide opportunities for women, BIPOC, people with disabilities, and folx who are gender non-conforming, non-binary, and LGBTQIA2+ to have their stories and work represented, both on stage and in production roles. We present our stories, our differing experiences, and our perspectives, written, produced, and performed by us. The stories we tell are euphoric, gut-wrenching, absurd, honest, and empathetic.
